Working principle of the Electric Homemade Pellet Mill
The pellet mill has a horizontal die and rollers above the die. The raw material is delivered into the pellet mill from the top and then enter into granulating chamber where the material will be pressed between flat die and rollers. Finally, the resulting pressure compresses the material and extrudes it through the holes in die. When the pellets come out of the die, they will immediately be cut into set length by a sharp knife. In addition, our flat die pellet mills can make fuel pellets and feed pellets. Generally speaking, for fuel pellets the diameter is from 4.5mm-12mm and for the feed pellet the diameter is from 1.5mm-12mm. Flat dies with different sizes of holes are available. You can opt the suitable flat die based on your demands.
